Definition

The integration of a previously non-municipal territory, such as a national park, forest, or uninhabited administrative zone, into one already existing municipality.

Implication of the change

Before (year t):

  • Municipality A (with id 11) exists as a separate entity with its own name, id, and territory.

After (year t + 1):

  • Municipality A intŠµgrated a non-municipal territory, such as a national park, forest, or uninhabited administrative zone, into its own territory.
  • Municipality A did not change its name or id.
